Accessibility
Last updated: October 10, 2026
TicketTuck makes event, registration, fee and donation pages for colleges, schools and other organizations, and the tools they use to run them. Everyone should be able to buy a ticket, register or give, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA in:
- the pages buyers see: event and payment pages, an organization’s directory of pages, checkout, confirmation pages and receipts (on screen, printed and by email);
- the Studio, where organizations build pages and see their orders;
- the door app staff use to check guests in.
What we do
- Pages, checkout and tickets are built to work with a keyboard alone and with screen readers, with a visible focus ring, labeled fields, and error messages that say how to fix the problem.
- Text and buttons are checked for color contrast. When an organization chooses its colors, the Studio warns about any pair that would be hard to read, and buttons on an organization’s accent color pick white or dark text by themselves.
- Animation stops for anyone who asks their device to reduce motion.
- Layouts work from a small phone up, and when text is enlarged to 200%.
- Tickets work on a phone, on paper, or by reading out the ticket code at the door.
Known limitations
- Card number fields are hosted by our payment provider in secure frames, so card numbers never reach TicketTuck. They are labeled and work with a keyboard, but parts of how they behave are outside our control.
- A bot check protects payment forms. Now and then it may ask a visitor to confirm they’re human. If it can’t load, the page says so and offers to try again.
- Each organization writes its own page text and chooses its own photos. The Studio requires a description for every photo, and organizations are responsible for the words and documents they add.
Report a barrier
If something on a TicketTuck page, in a receipt or in the Studio gets in your way, please tell us. Email support@tickettuck.com with:
- the web address of the page;
- what you were trying to do, and what happened;
- if you’re comfortable sharing it, the device, browser and any assistive technology you use.
We’ll reply within two business days. If you’re trying to buy a ticket, register or give, we’ll work with the organization running the event to help you finish another way, by email or phone, so you don’t miss out.
A barrier in what an event page says (its text, photos or attached documents) is best raised with the organization too. Its contact details are on the page and on your receipt.
